  • Chairman’s Message Electrical Engineering Program

    I am proud and pleased to welcome you to the Website of the Electrical Engineering Department at the Islamic University of Madinah Mounawara. Our Department has been recently established (in 2012) with a full vision of achieving national and international recognition in education in order to produce first class electrical engineers with necessary technical and communication skills as a basis for a successful career for the future needs of our beloved country.

    With the rapid changes in technology, We aim at improving teaching methods to be at the forefront and prepare our students through innovative thinking with state of the art engineering education, collaborative research, and services in various fields in accordance with Islamic values to the local community and the global industry.

    The newly established department has attracted more than eight (08) distinguished faculty members with mixed background from academia and industry along with six (06) technical and supporting staff, and sixty (60) high quality undergraduate students.

    We offer a strong and efficient bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering whose curriculum focuses on theories, practices, modern tools, and associated technologies comparable to programs accredited by ABET which may attract top students from high schools in the Madinah region.

    The program consists of courses in mathematical foundations, computer science, physical science and cover a broad range of topics such as electric circuits, analog electronics, digital electronics, power system analysis, and control theory and is open to full time qualified Saudi nationals and international Muslim high school graduated students.
