Mechanical engineering program is designed to enable students to have the following abilities after their completion of the program:

- Design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze, simulate and interpret the data.

- Ability to function with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering & mathematical problems.
- Understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.
- Ability to communicate effectively as well as to work and coordinate among the teams.
- Understanding the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context.
- Recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning process.
- Knowledge of contemporary issues.
- Ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern tools necessary for engineering practice.
- Ability to apply principles of engineering, basic science, and mathematics to model, analyze, design, and realize physical systems, components or processes in electrical engineering fields.
- Ability to involve in high quality research with ethical values and Islamic teachings.
